<p>Provides staff with more time to respond to active patients attempting to leave their chairs. Designed to alert staff before the patient gets up and remind patient to be seated. The alarm sounds as soon as the patient disengages the fastening velcro alerting the staff and providing an extra margin of safety for those more active wheelchair patients.<br><br>As an extra safety feature, the velcro seatbelt has 2″ of hook and loop fabric attached to the belt that must be disengaged after the alarm is already ringing, before the patient can actually remove the seatbelt, providing your staff with additional time to respond to the patient.<br><br></p><ul><li>(Non-Restraining*) *if a patient is unable to remove a device without assistance, it is considered a restraint under OBRA guidelines</li><li>Durable heavy duty nylon lap belt sounds an alarm when velcro attachment is separated.</li><li>Alerts staff and directs resident to stay seated for assistance.</li><li>Belt is adjustable from 26″ to 46″.</li></ul>
